ABOUT

My name is Morgan. I'm an experienced writer and a slightly less experienced reader. I was the Associate Web Editor at The Believer, a thirteen-time finalist for the National Magazine Award. I also authored a music column in The Portland Mercury called All-Ages Action! As an essayist and arts and culture features writer my published work has appeared in Vice, Bandcamp, Willamette Week, The Stranger, LA Weekly, OPB, and more.

I cofounded two record labels, Good Cheer Records and Day to Day, and juggled the roles of A&R manager and in-house publicist at both. I've also worked as a copywriter, treatment writer, proofreader, and editor in the marketing space. I've collaborated with agencies on campaigns for Unity, The North Face, Oui by Yoplait, Bubly, and more.
